Joe Martin is set to perform live with his full band for the launch of his new album at the Peel Centenary Centre. Known as a modern day troubadour, Joe Martin has built a reputation as a seasoned songwriter and performer, captivating tens of thousands of audiences across the UK and Europe over the last decade. His musical journey has notably included collaborations with top songwriters in Nashville, adding to his growing recognition both in the UK and the US.

Joe Martin is a modern day troubadour, a seasoned songwriter and performer having played to tens of thousands of people across the UK and Europe over the past decade.
The Lancashire born singer-songwriter is deservedly gaining attention on both sides of the Atlantic seeing him play shows around the UK, Europe and legendary venues in Nashville, Tennessee.
His musical journey has seen him collaborate with some of Nashville's top songwriters including Johnny Garcia of Garth Brooks' band, hit writer Jill Collucci and Aaron Raitiere at RCA studios on Music Row.
His sound is deeply rooted in the classic American style, drawing
inspiration from a wide range of influences from American folk artists like Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and James Taylor to songwriters such as Townes Van Zandt, Jason Isbell and Kacey Musgraves, with storytelling and lyric a main focus of Joe's song writing.
Honing his sound over the years on the road, Joe's personal stories have culminated in his debut album 'Empty Passenger Seat' which was released to much acclaim in 2023.
He has embarked on his next journey by recording his second studio album 'Alone In Valentine' in the autumn of 2025 in Nashville, alongside Cal Campbell and Cornelius Webb (sons of the much-loved Glen Campbell and Jimmy Webb) which will be released April 26.
