Friends of the Earth – Garden tips for drought and flooding - 2nd May, 2026

Friends of the Earth is hosting an event focused on garden tips suited for drought and flooding. Attendees can drop in at any time between 10am and 4pm to receive friendly advice on adapting gardens to withstand extreme weather conditions. This event aims to help participants maintain a healthy outdoor space where they can connect with nature.


Details

With more frequent very dry or very wet times throughout the year, having a garden adapted to withstand those extremes can help make all the difference in maintaining a healthy space where you want to spend time and connect with nature. Drop in any time between 10am and 4pm to the Green Centre and get friendly advice on how to make the best of your outside areas. Parking at Chester Street car park.

Regarding accessibility, we're at ground level (and have a regular wheelchair visitor), and well-behaved dogs are very welcome.
