The Little Makers – Strawberry Planter Workshop invites participants to create and decorate their own strawberry-themed ceramic flowerpot. In this hands-on workshop, each pot features a raised strawberry design, which attendees can personalize with color, patterns, and their own ideas. Participants will use paints and pens to design bold fruit patterns, decorate the leaves and seeds, or reinvent their pots entirely. Once completed, attendees will be able to take their creations home to use for a small plant or succulent.

Rushen Abbey has a strong link with the Isle of Man's food history. Just down the road in Ballasalla, the former jam factory once produced large quantities of fruit preserves, at its peak reaching up to 14 tons of bottled fruit each year. Run by Messrs Woods and Hardon, it gained national recognition for its quality, winning a gold medal at the Liverpool Exhibition in 1886. This workshop takes inspiration from that local heritage, giving a nod to the Isle of Man's fruity past while you create your own strawberry-themed designs.
